Chair reflects on a good year for CIPR International

"Since our AGM in February we have again strived to provide our members with information and education throughout the year. This year we have also expanded geographically, and now have CIPR International Groups in Jamaica and Mauritius.

"We've arranged a number of events since February, including the AGM itself which was followed by a lively journalist debate on topics such as fake news and the rise of populism. And we once again ran the annual Maggie Nally Memorial Lecture in May.

"In October we held an event on Artificial Intelligence in PR, in conjunction with the Greater London Group and CIPR's #AIinPR panel, and also hosted a podcast on the same topic [further details below]. We've also continued our Doing PR In... webinar series with instalments on Cambodia and India, as well as a series of thought-provoking posts on our blog. In addition, we've continued to add to our extensive archive of Letters From... "Thank you to all our members across the world, speakers, partners and sponsors, event attendees and colleagues for a great year. We have an equally busy 2019 planned, so look forward to seeing everyone back in the new year."
