Five reasons why you should join CIPR International

1.

Credibility and international professional recognition. Membership of the CIPR, the only professional body for the PR industry with a royal charter, provides members with industry-standard credibility both within and outside the profession.

2.

Global networking. Membership of CIPR International offers you a way of connecting with experienced communicators and PR experts working in the international arena.

3.

Being updated on international matters. Our social media channels – Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn - website and newsletters help you get the latest and remain up-to-date on PR developments from around the world. We also recently launched a Vimeo channel, containing thought-provoking webinars and views from industry leaders.

4.

Continuous professional development. As a member of CIPR International, you have discounted access to a wide range of initiatives focused on international communications, such as:

  • The prestigious Maggie Nally Memorial Lecture, our annual keynote event;

  • Webinars such as our 'Doing PR in…' series, which give you a unique insight into specific international PR markets;

  • Events focusing on the latest developments in international communications;

  • Regular podcasts if you're not able to join our events in person.

5.

Getting accreditation and getting Chartered. Being an accredited PR Practitioner is a hallmark of your professional excellence. It shows you are committed to keeping your professional skills and knowledge up-to-date and continually developing and broadening your horizons. Your accreditation shows in CIPR’s PR register and Member directory profile. You’ll receive a logo and certificate to demonstrate your designation. To retain your accredited status you need to renew your membership and complete CPD every year.

Please look at the CIPR website to find out the criteria for becoming accredited.
